The Microsoft Outlook app is the standard mobile email and calendar client used by Landmark. The Outlook mobile app is pre-installed on company-issued mobile devices. Native email and calendar clients may be used on personal devices, although the Outlook app provides a better experience which integrates with other Landmark systems.


The steps below outline how to disable Mail notifications and enable Calendar notifications. This is the recommended setting.


  1. Launch the Outlook mobile app.

  2. Tap on the circle icon in the top left corner of the app.




  3. Tap on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the app. The Settings panel will open.




  4. Scroll down to the Mail section and tap on the Notifications item.




  5. Tap on the None to select it and disable mail notifications. You may also disable Sound for New Mail to prevent Outlook for alerting with sounds.




  6. Scroll down to the Calendar section and tap on the Notifications item.




  7. Adjust the Notifications settings based on your preference. You must slide the Allow Notifications to the on (right) position to receive Calendar notifications.
